Andy's background is in hydrogeology and environmental planning. He has over 35 years experience in the conduct and management of environmental studies and scientific investigations, and recently retired as a partner in the environmental engineering firm, Epsilon Associates. Andy has been very active in local government, having completed two terms as Selectman in the town of Acton and having sat on numerous Town
committees, including the Open Space Committee, the Conservation Commission, and the Community Preservation Act Committee. Earlier, he served multiple terms on the Town's Sewer Advisory Committee and the Water Resources Advisory Committee. Andy has been involved in conservation activities for many years, and served (in addition to the Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition) on the boards of the Acton Conservation Trust (all volunteer), Sudbury Valley Trustees, and the Massachusetts Rivers Alliance.
