Off Highway Vehicle Bill of 2010
On July 31, 2010, Governor Patrick signed a new Off-Highway Vehicle bill into law. The law is intended to increase the safety of off-highway vehicle riding and protect natural resources. Recreational Use Shields Owner from Liability
Massachusetts, General Law c. 21 sec. 17C affords any owner who allows the public to use their land for recreation at no charge relief from liability, so long as the owner has not been willful, wanton or reckless. Revised January, 2010 |
