MLTC Dialogue with LTA on Proposed Accreditation Program March, 2008   The Land Trust Alliance's (LTA) proposed accreditation program for land trusts (the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, or LTAC) has been the subject of much discussion among Massachusetts land trusts.  In summer of 2007, the Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition (MLTC) invited the Board members and staff of Mass. land trusts to regional meetings to discuss land trust accreditation with their peers. MLTC then entered into a dialogue with LTA about the concerns of member land trusts.  LTA has since responded to some of the concerns raised by MLTC. These three documents chronicle this process to date.
