Metacomet Land Trust is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the protection of open space and natural resources in the communities of South Central Massachusetts. Metacomet is committed to working with landowners, communities, and state and federal agencies to protect land in 11 towns in the western portion of Norfolk County and the southern portion of Worcester County. Since Metacomet was created in 1988, we have protected 400 acres through donation, 125 acres through conservation restriction, and over 700 acres in partnerships with the Commonwealth and local communities.
