
Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust protects significant natural, agricultural, and scenic areas and encourages land stewardship in North Central Massachusetts for the benefit of the environment, the economy and future generations.
Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust focuses on a 23 town region in the North Quabbin area. The towns include: Ashburnham, Athol, Barre, Bernardston, Erving, Gardner, Gill, Greenfield, Hardwick, Hubbardston, Leyden, Montague, New Salem, Northfield, Orange, Petersham, Phillipston, Royalston, Templeton, Warwick, Wendell, Westminster, Wichendon.
From 1986-2004 Mount Grace has protected approximately 19,000 acres of land. Of these, 1374 are owned in fee, 3337 are held with a Conservation Restriction, and the rest were facilitated by the work of Mount Grace.
