The Bourne Conservation Trust of Cape Cod has been active for over two decades in preserving the unique character of the Cape and a sense of our nation’s past. We approach the preservation problem directly: by buying or sequestering select parcels of land, keeping them in their natural state available for all appropriate recreational purposes.

Concord Land Conservation Trust is a private non-profit organization which protects and maintains open space in Concord.

Essex County Trail Association: The ECGA is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to conserving the open space heritage of Essex County. Greenbelt acquires and stewards land to protect the integrity of ecological systems, maintain a base of local agriculture and preserve scenic vistas. A primary focus of our work is the creation of a network of “greenbelts” consisting of natural corridors and visually intact landscapes.

Groton Conservation Trust: Acquire and preserve lands with significant conservation value through means such as donation, purchase, easement, restriction and limited development; maintain these lands in a manner that is consistent with good conservation practice and the wishes of our land donors and, where appropriate, provide public access for passive recreational activities; initiate and support public education efforts that enhance awareness of conservation and environmental issues.

The East Quabbin Land Trust exists to preserve the natural, historical, agricultural and recreational character of our region. The Trust intends to do so by the following means: gather support and resources, develop and implement land protection strategies, education.

The mission of the Harwich Conservation Trust is to preserve forever the woods, wetlands, and other natural areas in the town of Harwich.

The Hilltown Land Trust is a Massachusetts non-profit land conservation organization dedicated to preserving the distinctive landscapes and natural resources of the hilltowns of Hampshire County. We work: to conserve active farmland and farmland soils; to protect habitats for native wildlife and plants, especially rare species; to ensure that lands bordering rivers, streams and ponds remain as natural watersheds; and to preserve the scenic character and working landscapes of these hilltowns.

Hopkinton Area Land Trust: To preserve, protect, conserve, and enhance the natural resources within and around the town of Hopkinton, MA, including water resources, marshlands, swamps, woodlands, underground water supplies, open spaces, land areas of historical significance, and wildlife habitat, in order to maintain and improve the quality of life in the town of Hopkinton for present and future generations.

Lancaster Land Trust: To assist in and promote the preservation of the rural character of the Town of Lancaster in order to permanently preserve and maintain areas for conservation of public water resources and for preservation of marshland, swamps and other wetlands and the animal and plant life therein, areas of historical significance or natural beauty, green-be and similar open sections, areas for outdoor education and training and other out-of door activities and for general public outdoor recreation and enjoyment, and sound conservation practices.

Lincoln Land Conservation Trust: To acquire and maintain undeveloped lands in town for agriculture, quiet recreation and education, wildlife habitat, water resource protection along with our viewing pleasure.

Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust: To improve the quality of life for the people through the creation, conservation and protection of parks, open spaces and special places.

Metacomet Land Trust is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the protection of open space and natural resources in the communities of South Central Massachusetts.

Mount Grace Conservation Trust protects significant natural, agricultural and scenic areas and encourages land stewardship in north central and western MA for the benefit of the environment, the economy and future generations.

Natural Resources Trust of Bridgewater: The NRTB shall work to acquire and preserve the natural resources and wildlife in the Town of Bridgewater and abutting communities; strive to maintain the rural character and charm of the towns, protect the river corridor and wetland areas, preserve open space and wildlife habitat, and provide for recreational areas. The Trust will operate in harmony with each town’s Open Space and Recreation Plan.

North County Land Trust: Our mission is to protect the land and water resources of north central Massachusetts by preserving the farms, forests and landscapes that define the character of our region.

Princeton Land Trust: To preserve the natural beauties and rural character of the Town of Princeton.

Rochester Land Trust: The Rochester Land Trust is a non profit organization dedicated to land conservation, the preservation of Rochester’s rural character, the permanent conservation of open space, and the education of it citizens in the protection of the town’s natural resources. The Trust acquires and holds real property for educational, recreational and conservation purposes in the interest of the public and promotes conservation easements on privately held land. The Land Trust cares for and maintains land under its stewardship and assists the Town of Rochester in publicly funded land acquisitions. The Rochester Land Trust holds its land to benefit the public today and for future generations.

Sherrif's Meadow Foundation: The mission of Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation is to conserve, administer, and manage natural habitats for wildlife and all other lands that represent the beautiful rural, natural character of Martha’s Vineyard.

Stow Conservation Trust: To protect Stow’s natural and scenic resources.

The Trustees of Reservations: To preserve for public use and enjoyment properties of exceptional scenic, historic and ecological value in MA and to protect special places across the state.

Valley Land Fund: To promote the preservation, protection and conservation of agriculture and open land in Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties, MA, thereby helping to ensure the continuation of agriculture in the region as well as other forms of open and conservation lands; and coordinating and integrating those activities of agencies and organizations having an interest in preserving, protecting, and conserving agricultural and open lands.
