The 2012 Mass Land Conservation Conference (MLCC) offered 36 workshops attracting over 490 members of the land conservation community and featured over 30 exhibits. Exhibitors benefited from a raffle driven “exhibitor passport” to increase exhibit area traffic. Over a dozen items were raffled off to lucky winners!

The 2012 conference theme, Farms, Forests & Conservation, and plenary speaker Gary Hirschberg, Chairman, President and CE-Yo of Stonyfield Farm, provided an exciting backdrop for exhibitors representing Massachusetts farm and forest industries. Gary Hirshberg is Chairman, President and CE-Yo of Stonyfield Farm, the world’s leading organic yogurt producer, and the author of Stirring It Up: How to Make Money and Save the World (Hyperion Books, 2008). Gary is a frequent speaker on topics including sustainability, climate change, the profitability of green and socially responsible business, organic agriculture and sustainable economic development.
